We spent two nights at the Perkinson's beach place and had two glorious sessions on the beach which was really nice. We went to two nice seafood restaurants for dinners and a great lunch (hot dogs) and breakfast places as well. The best was a pimento cheese and tomato sandwich that we made at the house. We watched the "Vicar of Dilbey" for evening entertainment and Don played his guitar. Myrtle Beach is about a 4-hour drive from us. Just south of Myrtle Beach were the Brookgreen Gardens http://www.brookgreen.org/ which is a combination of 4 old plantations. Really super place. The puppies went to Companion Camp and just loved it again.

John adn Carol visited June 16-18 on their way to Charleston for West Virginia Day. They found international folk dancing and Scottish Country Dancing in Durham while they were here.

In Memorium

Rocky entered doggy heaven 6/21/2009. He had lung cancer. We will miss him.
