Springtime in Fearrington

It's lovely here- sunny, high of 85 degrees predicted but the pollen is beggining to mount up on top of everything. Bill and Melva were here this weekend on their way home from FL and we had a nice time with Ron and Rhoda Saturday night and a concert at the Gathering Place Sunday afternoon. Much work to accomplish in the next few days before I leave for NYC.

Princess Ida

Just finished the set strike for the Durham Savoyard's "Princess Ida". I sang in the Royal Chorus again this year. You can see excerpts at the link below, though you won't see me. I was again Queen Victoria, so even if you saw me you wouldn't recognize me. I also was among the top five tickets sellers among the cast as I was last year. Mary Laurel and Robert came down from Bmo for Saturday night's performance though Moody was not feeling well enough to come having just gotten out of the hospital with an URI. Youtube Link. In the above picture I am flanked by Irina and Fran who were also in the Royal Chorus.

Pixel-altered Images - just for fun

These images have reduced number of colors in them - sort of a paint by the numbers effect.

Beltie Ball

We had a fundraising gala and auction for Fearrington Cares Friday night. Here's a pic of Ed, Mary and me taken by Rhoda. We had a Camden South Table, but Ed and Mary were the only ones to bid on something from our group. More pictures can be seen from here.
