Dr. A. Moody Burt of Sparta, GA who was married to Frances Wade Brown Little.
They probably met when Dr. Burt tried to save Frances Little's first husband from drowning. Since he didn't succeed, I guess he tried to make it up to her by marrying her. She had one daughter, Lily Little, whom the family called "Aunt Sister".
A. Moody Burt Jr. (1907) Freshman at Georgia Tech where is played Center for the Varsity Football team and was his senior's class Valedictorian.
Mary Atkinson Burt (sister of A Moody Burt Jr.)
Aunt Mary lived to be 104 years old. We went to her 100th birthday party in San Francisco in 1986. I had to go out on a business trip at the same time so Moody joined me. My mother and Dad came up to College Park, MD from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to stay with Mary Laurel who was only 3 years old. It was there that I met some of Moody's first cousins including Peggy and Elizabeth Hallam.
