Yesterday, Moody and I went on another ecotour pontoon boat ride with a different vendor. We saw all the same wildlife as before, but in addition we saw a beaver dam. It was very pleasant. After that we stopped at the TexMex restaurant in Pittsboro for lunch.

Last weekend I was in Boston to receive my award from SAEM. I stayed with Molly, Franklin, and Raleigh in her apartment in Brookline. I flew JetBlue and it was all very pleasant. Molly and I ate at a lot of nice restaurants.

ML and Robert come down to Pittsboro to visit with Moody while I was away and stayed an extra night so I could be with them after my return home. They used some of that time to register with Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma in case anyone wants to send them a wedding or shower gift.
