Reflections

Most of the folks at the party Saturday night were friends we made when I first come to College Park 33 years ago. And the rest were folks who all raised their children at the same time as we were raising Mary Laurel. There was a lot of talk about ML, Nick, Nupoor, Liz, Kirby, Nick and Ellen G., Charles, John, Kyle, Dan and Amy, etc. It really was a special time for St. A's, one that all these folks appreciate- all that fun at Shrinemont, Halloween parties, Xmas pagents, etc. As we get ready to move to a new place, I wonder how I can possibly expect to make friends that would have the ties that we have to these folks. But I expect it will just plain be different.
